Attendance!

We want our students on time and in school every day! Students benefit from the hard work of all our staff members if they are in school ... and we love to see them!

Our goal is for every student to have 95% attendance or better this year! This means a student can have no more than 9 absences (total - excused and unexcused) for the entire school year. This number doesn't account for snow days or if the school year is shortened for any reason so we encourage students to have no more than 5 absences.

Of course we understand that illnesses cannot be avoided and we ask you do everything you can to be in school!

In the event that you are absent:

An excuse note MUST be submitted within 3 days of the student's absence for the absence to be considered excused. Excuse notes are accepted for: illnesses, appointments, and death in family. Please see links below for more detailed information and resources:

We encourage students to show their "Tiger Pride" by committing to learning and showing our 3 basic expectations to be: respectful, responsible, and safe. Students earn tiger tickets toward incentives such as: school store and PBIS events ! Please check out the Virtual Office for clips of PBIS Events from past years!
